How does Sound Shoppers Radio differ from that of other music providers? Because we won't just give you an off the shelf cassette, we will custom make your own personal music program in any format you prefer. Whether you require nonstop music or music interspersed with announcements, here at Sound Shoppers Radio we can provide this service at no extra cost. Does it really matter what music we play? Research shows that playing the right kind of music does have an impact on your customers. For example, playing non-copyright music ("elevator music") is dull and boring and can in fact drive customers away. People in general never listen to "elevator music" at home, but they do listen to many copyrighted songs on the radio and on CD so why not make their visit an enjoyable experience by allowing them to listen to their favourite songs in your stores and encourage them to stay longer and return more often. Can I pick what music is played in my program? Absolutely! As long as the songs are represented by music licenses, you can use them in your program. However, some songs are better than others when trying to keep shoppers in your stores. Generally, more upbeat and positive songs keep shoppers happy and happy shoppers shop longer. Who writes our commercials? Who decides what messages are in my radio show? You are completely in control of your message. We will record any message you want and use it in your show. If you feel more comfortable writing your ads yourself, that’s great! If you’d like some help in writing your ads, our ad writers will help you! How long is the Sound Shoppers Radio show? That’s completely up to you! Typically most programs last 8 hours, but we custom design your programs to fit your needs, if your stores are open 12 hours a day, we can make a 12-hour show or we can make a 6-hour show that runs twice a day. Whatever you need, we’ll make it happen for you! How many ads do I get? Generally, there are 15 songs per hour and room for an ad in-between each song. That’s 15 songs per hour multiplied by 8 hours. That’s 120 ads every day! Why Is There a Set-Up Fee and a Monthly Rental Fee? The set-up fee includes all needed accessories for the initial set-up, plus in-person Labor, phone support and the initial purchase of the equipment. The monthly rental fee covers for damages and theft/loss of the equipment. If the item, whether a PC, MP3 Player or CD Player gets damaged, stolen, etc-that fee covers the replacement of the item. Think of it as insurance. In addition, this fee covers any telephone support needed. I'm an extremely busy person. Will this take up a lot of my time? Not at all. By doing our research on your individual outlet, we take that headache away from you. We make every music program individually and concentrate on getting the music just right for you. You can feel confident that we will make you a professional music program tailored to your needs and if at any time you’re not satisfied, we’ll work with you until you are! How does Sound Shoppers Radio end up in my store? What kind of equipment is involved? Sound Shoppers provides you with our MP3 player that we will set up for you in your store. That player connects directly into your existing speaker system. The player will come loaded with your first Radio program. After that, it’s easy to load new programs. We’ll show you how easy when your equipment arrives. The player can be connected to any windows-based computer and loaded with the latest show within 10 minutes. You can also opt for the live streaming option, where with a special decoder, you can pick up a stream of your in-store radio station. This is a secure site that no one else has access to. We can also include this stream on your website too! Do we have to use Sound Shoppers Radio sound equipment? Absolutely not! We use your existing speaker system to broadcast Sound Shoppers Radio. As a matter of fact, we DON'T SELL Public Address systems, but if you need one, we can help you get one that suits your needs and fits your budget. The equipment that plays Sound Shoppers Radio is included with the service and will be connected to your P.A. system by one our technicians. How often can we change our program and our commercials? You subscription entitles you to 4 versions a year; one change every quarter. However, Sound Shoppers Radio is only interested in your satisfaction, if you want to change your program more often, we can do that. We are currently working on a technology that will allow you to change your ads and your music whenever you like for NO ADDITIONAL COST! How long does the contract last? The minimum contract length is 6 months, however, we’re more interested in your satisfaction with our service. Most customers opt for a 12-month contract, but if that doesn’t fit your needs, we’ll work with you to find a solution that does fit. A longer contract is more cost effective for you! |
